Taco Bell Corp. announced that on March 31, 2020, the company will give everyone in the country one free beef nacho cheese Doritos Locos Taco, no purchase necessary, to drive-thru customers at participating locations while supplies last as a way of thanking people who are helping their communities in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. The company also announced it would relaunch its Round Up program, which gives customers the option to "round up" their order total to the nearest dollar, to raise funds for the No Kid Hungry campaign. The Taco Bell Foundation will also be donating $1 million dollars to the campaign.

Fast food brands are always trying to introduce new menu items to keep customers interested, but sometimes it’s the dishes that are no longer available that their fans want the most.

Over the last few years Taco Bell has discontinued a number of items, only to bring them back for a limited time.

Now, the fast food chain is asking fans for their help deciding which menu item they will bring back next.

Back in 2020, Taco Bell customers were upset after the brand discontinued a number of fan favorite menu items, including the Mexican Pizza. However, thanks to a petition with over 175,000 signatures, the chain decided to bring the popular item back for a limited time.

Since then, they have done the same with a number of items, and now they want their customer’s help deciding what to bring back next; the Double Decker Taco or the Enchirito.

According to Yahoo, fans need to log into the Taco Bell app and vote on which item they'd rather see return between Sept. 27 and Oct. 7.

“On the heels of the love and passion we saw for Mexican Pizza, we wanted to continue elevating the voices of our most loyal fans by giving them exclusive access to a uniquely digital experience that fosters brand love," said Taco Bell Chief Brand Officer Sean Tresvant.

Soon, more fan favorites will be back on the Taco Bell menu.
