What is going on with Hunter Biden's child support case?

Susan L Ward, a local family attorney, joins the Mark Reardon Show to discuss Hunter Biden's child support case in Arkansas.

“The original paternity was closed, as I understand it, in 2020. And in that, that's where Hunter Biden's fatherhood was determined and he agreed to pay child support. And what I take from it is that's also where either the court ordered or they agreed that the child would also carry the Biden last name. So that was said and done in 2020,” said Ward.

She continued, “Then some point after that, in my opinion, as a practitioner, Hunter Biden made the mistake of saying, ‘I think I need to lower my child support’. And as soon as you do that, you put all of your financial well-being and income, and earning potential in play. And so he opened the door and invited everyone to the dance.”

“I think we learned yesterday, if I'm getting this correctly too, at the hearing yesterday, we found out that he is paying $20,000 a month in child support. A total of $750,000. That's what CNN was reporting,” Ward added.
