Missouri Senator Josh Hawley joined Marc Cox with his reaction to the pullout of troops from Afghanistan. The junior Senator called for the resignation of the secretary of defense, secretary of state, and the national security advisor
“An American president abandoned Americans to the enemy. I can’t think of a time in our history where that happened and the president celebrated it. And I tell you what, there’s gotta be accountability for that,” said Hawley.
Hawley also expressed his respect for Lance Corporal Jared Schmitz as his funeral procession is scheduled for later today.
"The terrible decisions and the failure of Joe Biden and his team can't overshadow or takeaway the heroism of people like Lance Corporal Schmitz and our other wounded warriors," said Hawley.
