Kerry says US 'won't have coal' by 2030

"Modern society will grind to a halt!"

Former US Senator and current US special envoy for climate, John Kerry, made headlines this week at the COP26 climate conference in Glasgow.

"By 2030 in the United States, we won't have coal," Kerry told Bloomberg. "We will not have coal plants."

"Why is John Kerry in Europe claiming we're going to eliminate coal-burning power plants in 8 years?" asked an exasperated Marc Cox. "This is insane, there's no source that we have to replace that with. Modern society will grind to a halt."
