Golladay 'a candidate' for IR. Has he played his last game for Lions?

The Lions will be without Kenny Golladay for at least one game, possibly several.

The team's star wide receiver left Sunday's loss to the Colts with a hip injury and is "expected to be out this week and will be considered week-to-week going forward," according to Ian Rapoport.

There's a chance the Lions could place Golladay on three-week injured reserve, which would render him unavailable until the team's Thanksgiving game against the Texans -- at the earliest.

Golladay's injury, which occurred late in the first half against the Colts, comes amid his standoff with the Lions on a potential extension. His name has also popped up in rumors ahead of Tuesday's trade deadline.

If Golladay doesn't feel 100 percent fit to play moving forward, he might not be inclined to take the field without a new contract. With his current deal set to expire after this season, there's a chance -- albeit a small one -- that he's played his last game for the Lions.

At the very least, it's safe to say Golladay won't be out there when Detroit takes on Minnesota in Week 9.
