Jameson Williams arrives in Detroit with a bang

Jameson Williams, how do you do?

The rookie wide receiver for the Lions introduced himself to the NFL Sunday at Ford Field with a 41-yard touchdown on his first target of the game against the Vikings -- the rival the Lions traded with to draft Williams 12th overall last April.

It was the first career catch for Williams, who made his NFL debut last week. If the rest of them look like this, he'll be in pretty good shape:

Williams savored the moment in the end zone, raising his arms to embrace a rollicking crowd at Ford Field. These fans had waited months to see him hit the field as he recovered from the torn ACL he suffered in the national championship last season at Alabama.

On Sunday, the wait was worth it.
