A 13-year-old from Montgomery, Texas had to be taken to the hospital after accidentally swallowing a dog toy while he was joking around with his mom.
Before seeing the doctor, Mary Serrano had a little fun at her son’s expense, recording a video of Jonathan because whenever he laughed, he squeaked!
According to Yahoo, Jonathan was pretending to chew on a dog toy to annoy her.
When she jokingly made a slapping gesture with a soda bottle, he accidentally swallowed the plastic squeaker as he quickly ducked out of the way!
Before doctors were able to remove the squeaker, the pair recorded this hilarious video.
Doctors used a tiny scope to remove the squeaker, although Jonathan missed “a very important camping trip with Boy Scouts that he was very much looking forward to” according to Mary, so the ordeal wasn’t exactly “fun for him.”
Well at least they got a couple laughs out of it.
