For those that may have missed it, Brown left the field in the middle of Sunday’s game against the Jets as he removed his pads and jersey before jogging across the end zone and waving to the crowd as he made his way to the locker room.

After the game, Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians made it clear that the wide receiver was no longer part of the team. “He is no longer a Buc,” Arians said in his press conference. “That’s the end of the story.”

As video of the events went viral on social media, Brown kept silent about the incident. That is, until later in the evening when he took to Twitter to share a link to a song called “Pit Not The Palace.”

The two-minute track doesn’t reference Brown’s decision to leave the field in the middle of the game. Instead, Brown raps about a lavish lifestyle and being stylish.

The song has been in the works for some time now as Brown’s label, CAB Records, teased the track in an Instagram post a few weeks ago.
