An Upstate woman has been reunited with her children following her release from prison after killing her abusive boyfriend. Tiffany Carroll was sentenced to 15 years for manslaughter after fatally stabbing her abuser in 2017.
Carroll was diagnosed with battered woman's syndrome by a psychologist prior to her trial. Since her incarceration many in the Greenwood Community have rallied in support of Carroll's release.
One of her main proponents has been State Representative John McCravy. He'll be holding a reception for Tiffany at his Greenwood Office at 5PM, Monday.
