New details have emerged after a weekend shooting in North Georgia left two people dead and another injured.
As we previously reported, the Elbert County Sheriff's Office responded to the area of Martin Villa Drive and Pleasant Hill Road, Saturday afternoon. Deputies arrived and found a man dead on the scene.
The victim has been identified as 62 year old, Refugio Torres. Another man was found at the scene suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to an area hospital to be treated. There's been no update on his condition.
The suspect 31 year old, Moriah Lane Mills was later found dead from a self inflicted gunshot wound. The incident remains under investigation by the Elbert County Sheriff's Office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
