Upon nominations deadline, the 20 families will have been drawn and contacted. They will be listed on this page. Starting Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at 6:00AM MT you'll have a chance to start adopting. Family #1: Fischer Family

Dad is a Veteran, Mom home-schools, Edwin requires 24/7 medical care due to his premature birth.

Family #2: Casey Family
Christopher 2, Kailey 4
Unfortunately, in March Kailey was diagnosed with B-ALL Leukemia. She has been going through a lot of surgeries, chemotherapy and more roughly 4-5 times a month. It has caused a significant financial impact as I had to quit my job again to be able to care for her full time while also trying to support my son through this hard time with his sister and making him still feel just as important and loved. We have had a very hard year! Thank you!

I am nominating my family as single mom, who has always worked two job to support my kids. This year my life changed I had lost my jobs due to being sick because of mold in our apartment had made me and my kids sick. We ended up moving and loosing so much of our stuff, started staying with my brother until I could find a place and take care of my lungs and kids are resilient with all that’s going on they made Honor roll and keep their grades up. I’m asking for help do to me not being able find work.

Everyone has a story and so do we. I would love to nominate my family of 6, we can't seem to get caught up on bills and then Christmas around the corner my mom just had a spinal surgery done. Her spine was so inebriated it was like a candy cane. Brennon and Joseph are both disabled. Brennon was hit by a drunk driver - leaving his life at 3 percent chance of living. Joseph just got diagnosed with disability for speech and hearing so we have definitely been through it our family could use a blessing

A single father who I work with. The mother left him and the kids some time ago. He works at the rails and he never says no to any work or to anything asked of him. He struggles with just the basic needs to feed and clothe the kids. He is the nicest man you would ever meet and a great single father. I cannot tell you how much my heart breaks for them. If any parent could use some Christmas joy, it is him and his kids. Please please please help him. He and his wonderful kids deserve a great Xmas.

Family #6: Franco Duarte Family
Gabbie - 18 (Senior in high school) Ingrid - 10 (5th Grade) Jamie (boy) - 11 (6th grade)
I have been Gabbie's special education English teacher for the past 3 years at Hinkley High School in Aurora. Gabbie lost her dad in elementary school and her mom has to do it all. Gabbie has been working to help her family, but she requested help from school recently for Thanksgiving so I'd love to give her and her family the best Christmas. As a senior in high school, this might be her last Christmas at home as she has plans to move away and attend college next year. I will miss her dearly.

My daughter lost her job about 5 months ago. She is an interior designer. Her ex boyfriend beat her up and she lost days at work do to drs and court. He also had drug charges and in now in prison for 4 years. She had tried everything to find another job. Door dashing now to pay some bills.
Utilities were shut off she didn’t want to tell me so I paid to turn back on.
She has house and car deferred through December. I bought groceries when EBT got cut off. She is a very caring person that would

Johnny and Danell are a sweet young couple starting. Johnny was honorably discharged from the Army. They are a young family with 2 beautiful baby boys, Mateo (2 1/2) and Myles 18 months. They have hit some rough times and are in need this year to give these gorgeous boys a good Christmas.

These kids deserve to have some fun, we have wanted to take them to Dave and busters but its so expensive and things are tight.

Family #11: Dearman Family

I am a single mother of four resilient children. We lost four close family members in eight months, leaving us without support. I’m studying for a bachelor’s in human services but, struggling financially since losing my job in May. This blessing would help me provide Christmas for my children

This family needs to have some comfort this year. Both their vehicles were totaled in the middle of the night. They had to buy junk cars to get around. Cars are always needing work now. They are wonderful parents and do so much for the kids and just need some help this year. Insurance just paid momma’s car off and only gave dad 4,000 for his. They bought 2 old cars to make sure they could get the kids to school and other activities. Seems like they are now always trying to get the cars fixed.

Family #13: Ortega Family
Davian (Boy-9 years old), Edan (Boy-6 years old), Evanny (Girl-4 years old)
Our family has faced some very difficult times this year, our house has gone into foreclosure 2 times this year, but our family has stayed strong together. Dad lost his job 2 months ago and has been struggling to find consistent work and mom is a full-time student going into the medical field and working full-time trying to keep the family afloat. We want to give the kids a meaningful Christmas because EVERY child deserves one, this would help tremendously to us bring joy into our kids holiday!

Chianne is a wonderful mother of 4 who is struggling to make ends meet. I know she wants to give her children a great Christmas which is why I'm nominating them so that can be made possible

Ashely's job recently closed and she has had to adjust to the new location where she isn't getting the hours or pay that she once was.
I'm hoping this helps her get through Christmas stress free!

Family #16: Stephenson Family ADOPTED

This is for my sister. She was in a bad car accident a little over a year ago. She broke her back and is still dealing with pain and surgeries. She has not been able to work since the accident. She has only 1 child my wonderful niece patyon. She is 7 years old. She also has medical issues along with some autism. My sister does everything she can do. With all her pain and stuff from the accident she cannot afford much she could really use some help during the holidays.

Johnny is a single dad of two young children trying to navigate a new town on top of it. He just recently got a job but due to it being so recent it looks like Christmas is gonna be a little tight for him and his family. everything is so new for them. I just really think they deserve to have a good Christmas and a good start to the new year.

Family #18: Grasso Family

Jen is struggling after separating from a 12 year abusive marriage. She is going through divorce and custody battle. She works over nights, by day she becomes a super mom with a big heart. I know she is struggling paying bills and barely making it by. I would to see something wonderful could happen in her life for once.

Family #19: Adams Family

My Daughter Miranda is a survivor of domestic abuse. In the past two months she was jumped and beaten by her ex. Lost her job for taking her son to the ER for croup. Her car was stolen and lit on fire and left burnt to nothing. Just this past week she was in an accident that landed her in the ER with several injuries to her face broke her wrist and muscle trauma that has left her barely walking. And now she doesn’t have money to pay rent or food. I would love them to have this special gift!

Family #20: Milton Family ADOPTED

This year my asthma worsened and I was diagnosed with heart failure, making my custodial job at the Buell Theatre difficult and causing missed work and overdue utilities. My 14-year-old daughter’s October birthday was disappointing, and with my girlfriend’s recent pay cut, Angel Tree help is our only hope for Christmas.
