NBA Player Prop Picks for Tuesday, December 3

Top Prop Bets Featuring Giannis Antetokounmpo, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and Nikola Jokic

Tuesday night’s NBA slate is packed with exciting matchups and enticing player prop opportunities. Whether it’s Giannis Antetokounmpo overpowering defenses, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander slicing through opponents with his elite playmaking, or Nikola Jokic dominating every facet of the game, there’s no shortage of betting value. I’ve highlighted three of the best prop bets to consider for tonight’s games, complete with in-depth analysis and key stats to help you make informed picks. Let’s dive in!

Bucks PF Giannis Antetokounmpo Over 30.5 Points vs. Pistons (-125, DraftKings)

Back on November 13, Giannis went 21-of-34 for 59 points (in 44 minutes due to overtime) and got off to an amazing start, scoring 20 points in the first quarter alone. Quite simply, there’s nobody on this Pistons team that can stop him, especially around the rim. Antetokounmpo averages an NBA-high 9.8 made shots on an NBA-high 13.8 field goal attempts from within five feet of the rim and gets there with ease. Leading the NBA with 32.9 points per game, Antetokounmpo has scored 41, 37, 32 and 42 points over his last four starts and has taken no fewer than 21 shots or less than 10 free throws in any of those contests. Overall, the Greek Freak’s 36.0% usage rate trails only LaMelo Ball’s and I love his upside once again in the scoring column.

Thunder PG Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Over 6.5 Assists vs. Jazz (+110, DraftKings)

The Jazz have allowed opposing point guards to average 10.38 assists per game (2nd-most in NBA), 28.0 total assists per game (5th-most) and Utah has allowed 23.2 points per game off turnovers (most) and 19.8 fastbreak points per contest. Additionally, SGA averages 22.6 drives per game and routinely gets penetration with ease, also averaging 8.4 passes per game off of those drives. The Jazz have the 3rd-worst Defensive Rating in the NBA and should be shredded in this matchup. On the season, he’s averaging 6.5 assists per game, but 13.1 potential helpers per contest, therefore showing some untapped upside. He’s gone over this mark in four of his last five starts against Utah.

Nuggets C Nikola Jokic Over 22.5 Rebounds + Assists vs. Warriors (-106, FanDuel)

The Warriors have allowed 17.37 rebounds per game (most) and 5.01 assists (3rd-most) to opposing centers this season and Jokic is not only averaging a triple-double, but he ranks 1st in rebounding with 13.2 boards (on an NBA-high 23.5 chances) and 2nd with 10.7 dimes per contest (on 18.7 potential assists, which also ranks 2nd). Note that you can also bet his triple-double at +115 if you like that more, but I’ll bet this instead and avoid worrying about him falling one rebound or assist short. He’s gone over this number in seven of his last 10 games played and should crush in this matchup. Also note that Draymond Green (calf) is doubtful to play, so he should be able to do whatever he wants on both ends of the floor.
