NBA Player Prop Picks for Monday, January 13

Top value plays featuring Rudy Gobert, Donte DiVincenzo, and Julian Champagnie in favorable matchups.

Monday’s NBA slate presents a fantastic opportunity to target a few high-value player prop bets. With favorable matchups and recent trends pointing to strong performances, players like Rudy Gobert, Donte DiVincenzo, and Julian Champagnie stand out as top candidates to cash in. Below, we break down the stats, matchups, and reasoning behind each pick to help you make informed betting decisions. Let’s dive into the best prop bets for January 13!

Timberwolves C Rudy Gobert Over 22.5 Points + Rebounds vs. Wizards (-110, BetMGM)

Averaging 10.1 points and 10.5 rebounds per game this season, Gobert is in one of the best-possible individual matchups today against the Wizards. Washington has allowed an NBA-high 28.52 points and 4th-most rebounds per game (16.1) to opposing centers, so this is a smash spot for the big man. Nine of the last 10 opposing starting centers have gone over this number against the Wizards, with the lone exception being Isaiah Hartenstein (10 points, 12 rebounds in 22 minutes due to a blowout) last game. While Gobert is not and has never been a prolific scorer, this Washington defense can’t defend the paint and the Frenchman has averaged 19.3 rebounding chances per game this season, 8th-most in the Association. I expect a ceiling performance from him in this matchup.

Timberwolves PG Donte DiVincenzo Over 18.5 Points + Assists vs. Wizards (-110, BetMGM)

This has been a very tough season for DiVincenzo, who is averaging 10.5 points and 3.6 assists. However, he was recently inserted into the starting lineup in place of Mike Conley and now finds himself in one of the best-possible matchups (like Gobert) against a Washington squad that has allowed an NBA-high 27.32 points and 4th-most assists (9.7) to opposing point guards. It’s also worth noting that Washington has allowed 3.6 made threes to the position, 2nd-most in the league. DiVincenzo is coming off his best performance of the season, a 27-point, 10-rebound, seven-assist performance against the Grizzlies, and should enter this contest with a ton of confidence.

Spurs SF Julian Champagnie Over 11.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists vs. Lakers (-120, BetMGM)

On the season, Champagnie has averaged 12.0 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists and has hit this specific bet 89% of the time. Breaking it down per category, he’s gone over his 7.5 points prop 81% of the time, over 0.5 assists 78% of the time and over 2.5 rebounds 86% of the time, so it’s difficult not to love this combo prop. In two matchups against the Lakers, Champagnie put up 24 points + rebounds + assists (18 points, five rebounds, one assist) in 31 minutes back on November 31 and 20 points + rebounds + assists (10 points, eight rebounds and two assists) in 31 minutes on November 15. While he no longer starts, he should still play a substantial amount of minutes off the bench and we’re getting a great number and price on this sky-high hit rate.
