Just two days after opening night, some college basketball teams are already playing their second game while others are making their season debut. Even without a lot of marquee matchups on Wednesday, there are a few intriguing betting lines that we’ve spotted. Here are our top college basketball picks for Wednesday.

Georgetown (0-0) -14.5 vs. Lehigh (0-1)

It was a rough season opener for Lehigh on Monday, as the Mountain Hawks were ice cold in the first half against Northwestern, scoring just 15 points in a 90-46 loss. But they are a much better team than they showed in that game and will have a chance to wipe the slate clean on Wednesday night. The Mountain Hawks bring back a strong core from last year’s team, so there is room for improvement. On the other side, Georgetown was just 9-23 last season in Ed Cooley’s first season with the Hoyas. The roster has been turned completely upside down, forcing the Hoyas to rely on a combination of freshmen and transfers. That could prevent the Hoyas from hitting the ground running, allowing Lehigh to keep this game close and put a dreadful season opener behind them.

Pick: Lehigh +14.5

Pepperdine (0-0) -3.5 vs. Western Illinois (1-0)

Western Illinois began its season with a win over San Jose State and will continue an early-season West Coast trip against Pepperdine. Despite the win, the Leathernecks weren’t overly impressive. They scored just 59 points, not shooting the ball particularly well. The Leathernecks also found themselves in foul trouble, which could be a bad omen. Granted, Pepperdine has a new head coach and a lot of roster turnover. But the Waves have put together an experienced roster. They should be ready to start fast this season and cover a small spread against a younger Western Illinois team.

Pick: Pepperdine -3.5

Boise State (0-0) -17.5 vs. Oakland (1-0)

There are high hopes for the Broncos, who have been to the NCAA Tournament in three straight seasons. On paper, they should be able to handle a team like Oakland. Boise State returns senior forwards Tyson Degenhart and O’Mar Stanley, who both averaged double figures last season. However, virtually the entire backcourt needs to be replaced with a lot of pressure on San Jose State transfer Alvaro Cardenas to run the show. The Broncos have a tough season opener against an Oakland team that won the Horizon League last season and upset Kentucky in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. While the Grizzlies lost some key players from that team, they still have a veteran group that looked good in their season opener on Monday. This spread is simply too big, which should enable the Grizzlies to at least beat the spread.

Pick: Oakland +17.5
