The Baltimore Ravens and Lamar Jackson are off to a 5-2 start to the season after taking down the Buccaneers on Monday Night Football and they sit in first place in the AFC North.
When it comes to the Ravens as Super Bowl contenders, their odds sit right behind those of the Chiefs at +600, while Kansas City is favored at +425.
While the Ravens could pose a threat to the Chiefs when it comes to winning the AFC, Nick Kostos said on You Better You Bet he doesn’t see Baltimore keeping the Chiefs from heading to the Super Bowl this season.
“This season thus far, before (Monday night) against Tampa, five touchdowns, this is the best he’s played in his entire career,” Kostos said. “The best he’s played in his entire career that already features two MVP awards. And if you can be honest with yourself and not be a blithering fool, you can admit that the best player this season in the National Football League has been undoubtedly Lamar Jackson … Lamar Jackson should be the MVP favorite … and Baltimore should be the second choice to win the AFC. Also, I can’t wait to bet the Kansas City Chiefs against the Ravens in January … Why would you think that this is the year for Lamar and the Ravens to beat Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs?”
