The Monday Night Football clash between the Dolphins and Rams brings plenty of intrigue with standout player prop betting opportunities. With Tua Tagovailoa back under center for Miami, De’Von Achane's receiving outlook remains bright, while Raheem Mostert looks set for a solid ground presence. For the Rams, Cooper Kupp’s rapport with Matthew Stafford is as reliable as ever, offering strong value in the reception market. Here’s a closer look at the best player prop picks for this primetime matchup.
Dolphins RB De’Von Achane Over 42.5 Receiving Yards (-112, FanDuel)
Having Tua Tagovailoa under center makes a gigantic difference in Achane’s outlook. Luckily, Tua will be starting again this week and we’ve caught a glimpse of what Achane can do the four times Tagovailoa has played: seven catches (seven targets) for 76 yards against the Jaguars in Week 1, seven catches (seven targets) for 69 yards and a TD against the Bills in Week 2, six catches (eight targets) for 50 yards and a TD against the Cardinals in Week 8 and eight catches on eight targets for 58 yards and a TD against the Bills in Week 9. That’s elite. Tyreek Hill (wrist) is questionable and if he plays, he won’t be at 100%, so Achane should continue to be a key feature in the passing game out of the backfield and slot. In my opinion, this should be right around 54.5 since the Rams entered Week 10 as a middling team (14th) in terms of receiving yards allowed to opposing running backs. There’s a ton of value here.
Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert Over 7.5 Rushing Attempts (-128, FanDuel)
Opposing teams have called 25.75 rushing plays for running backs per game against the Rams (4th-most in NFL) this season and at 2-6, it’s essential that they get Mostert going on the ground to complement Achane. Last season, Mostert led the NFL with 18 touchdowns and now that he’s healthy again, his workload should reflect his value. He logged 19, 11, nine and 10 times over his last four games played and only suited up five times this season. This line is what it is due to Mostert’s recent fumbling issues, but the downhill running game is what Miami does best and Mostert can and should be a huge part of that approach. I’m going to buy low and put my faith in him and dismiss the idea that rookie Jaylen Wright will supplant him.
Rams WR Cooper Kupp Over 6.5 Receptions (+108, BetRivers)
Last week, with Puka Nacua suiting up, Kupp caught 11 of 14 targets for 104 yards against the Seahawks, so I’m right back on his receptions prop and have faith in his connection with Matthew Stafford. It wasn’t that long ago when he caught 14 of 21 targets for 110 yards and a touchdown in the season opener and it’s important to consider that Jalen Ramsey is going to likely cover Nacua on the outside rather than Kupp in the slot. I’m never interested in anyone other than Kupp, Nacua or Kyren Williams in this offense and out of those three, Kupp is clearly the guy I want to target given his yardage total and perceived matchup.
