I've been impressed by their entire pitching staff so far. After losing like this last night, I expect Kennesaw to come out firing and make a statement this afternoon:
In the night game, I expect USC to take care of business. Cal State Bakersfield (1-2) lost 17-1 and 13-3 to Lamar in their opening series and added an 8-1 win in the middle game. They should be overmatched by a USC (4-0) program that’s off to a 4-0 start while outscoring George Washington 31-15 and then USC Irvine 5-2 in a standalone midweek game yesterday. USC surprisingly hasn’t been to the College World Series since 2015 and I’m going to go out on a limb and say this is the year they get back over the hump and return. I really like the way their team is constructed.
