NBA Best Bets for Thursday, February 20

Top Moneyline, Spread, and Total Plays for Pacers vs. Grizzlies, Lakers vs. Trail Blazers and Clippers vs. Bucks

Wednesday’s NBA slate only featured the Charlotte Hornets vs. Los Angeles Lakers, but there will be a lot more action on Thursday with nine games set to tip off between 7:00 and 10:00pm ET. Are you looking to find a betting edge after the All-Star break? We’ve got you covered.

Pacers ML vs. Grizzlies (+105, BetMGM)

Indiana should be at full strength on Thursday, as Myles Turner is set to return from a three-game layoff caused by a neck injury. His mobility should make Zach Edey uncomfortable defensively and Ja Morant will look to shake off some rust after missing his team’s last game before the All-Star break with a knee injury. The Pacers have stepped it up in a big way since starting off 2024-2025 slowly and are in a great spot. They’ve only lost to the New York Knicks and Cleveland Cavaliers at home since the start of the new year and have the tools to get the job done as slight underdogs.

Lakers -4.5 at Trail Blazers (-110, BetMGM)

Portland has actually played some great basketball for stretches this season but entered the All-Star break enduring a three-game losing streak. All of those losses were by double-digits, and now the new-look Lakers are coming to town with a refreshed Luka Doncic alongside LeBron James. Depth at center might not be a big issue in this matchup, as Deandre Ayton and Robert Williams are banged up for the home team. The Lakers will be looking to make a strong push while against a young and inexperienced Trail Blazers team that seems poised to fade.

Clippers at Bucks Over 225.5 (-110, BetMGM)

Los Angeles is ready for an offensive revolution. The Clippers have prided themselves on defense this year. Only the Orlando Magic and Oklahoma City Thunder have given up fewer points per contest (108.0) this season. They’re only scoring 111.0 points per game, but some midseason moves could help that number go up. Bogdan Bogdanovic’s move from the Atlanta Hawks added perimeter shooting and Ben Simmons has looked like a legitimate floor raiser as a playmaker early in his Clippers career. Los Angeles has scored at least 120 points in three straight contests and can match Milwaukee’s production now that Kawhi Leonard has been given a longer leash as far as playing time is concerned.
