We’ve almost made it to the Super Bowl, everybody, and today we’re taking a closer look at the halftime show.

The performer will be Kendrick Lamar and there are odds at BetMGM (Ontario only) for the song he will go with to begin the halftime show. Our staff has made our picks for which song from his catalog he will pick!

Dan Karpuc: All the Stars (+1000)

A whopping 0% of the tickets and 0% of the handle has been wagered on this song, but after listening to every song on the odds board, I feel like this would set the vibe, especially if he brought out SZA as a special guest. The choreography, props and lighting could also be really special and we’ve seen the opener start off with a slower-paced, heartfelt selection multiple times over the years. At +1000, I think it’s worth a flyer.

Lucy Burdge: Humble (+150)

I feel like Humble is the perfect song to start the Halftime Show and then Kendrick will finish the performance with Not Like Us. Mostly because that means it will be remembered and Drake will have to wait through the whole show to see if he’ll perform it. But I think Kendrick will start with a recognizable song in Humble to get people going for the rest of his performance.

Matt Horner: Squabble Up (+450)

I’ll be honest, I don’t know a single song by Kendrick Lamar outside of “Humble,” but that feels like it would be too easy. Instead, I’ll bet on “Squabble Up” to be the first song played, mostly due to some promising betting splits. I highly doubt any kind of sharp is putting money on a novelty bet such as this, but 29% of the handle is on just 10% of the tickets with this one. Maybe some people know something that others don’t.
