Antonio Brown is back in the news, but this time it is actually good news for the wide receiver.
Brown is in New Orleans working out for the Saints, which was hinted on his Instagram page and then confirmed by ESPN's Adam Schefter. Schefter says the team is doing its due diligence.
The NFL wide out was released by the Patriots in September following sending allegedly threatening text messages to a woman who accused him of sexual misconduct in a Sports Illustrated story. Brown was accused of sexual misconduct and also sexual assault by another woman. The league is currently investigating both matters.
Brown hasn't been signed by another team since it's likely he would immediately be placed on the Commissioner's Exempt List as the league continues to look into both matters.
Do the Saints know something is coming in terms of the investigation being over and Brown being cleared? Time will tell.
New Orleans is currently 12-3 and in the mix for the No. 1 overall seed in the NFC. It already has one of the best passing attacks in football league by Drew Brees and Michael Thomas.
