Former Master Sergeant Joshua Glardon has been sentenced to 76 years in prison after being convicted of child pornography charges. Glardon had previously served as a First Sergeant at the 4th Psychological Operations Group located on Fort Liberty, the base formerly known as Fort Bragg, in North Carolina.

The investigation began when the social media website Kik provided a tip to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about a user that had uploaded containing child sexual abuse material.

The IP address of the user belonged to Glardon, who was located in Fayetteville, North Carolina. More disturbingly, some of the images appeared to be original and produced by Glardon himself.

When police served a search warrant and seized his digital devices, they found thousands of child exploitation images and identified the child that Glardon has personally taken pictures of.

A woman named Amy Huddleston had access to the child, and when arrested she confessed to allowing Glardon to rape the child, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office of the Eastern District of North Carolina.

Huddleston was sentenced to 30 years in prison back in June. Glardon received his 76 year sentence this August.
