A Fort Hood solider is missing and his family says something's not right.
According to reports, 21-year-old Spc. Abram Salas II didn't show up for work last week and post officials say he left on his own but didn't know why.
Members of the Salas family says he got married to a woman they never met, five days before his disappearance. They say he moved out of barracks about two weeks before that, around the same time they think he met the woman.
“He got married and everybody found out about it on social media, and no one knew about this person before,” said Teresa Kiphen, the soldier’s aunt, according to KWTX.
Officials say Salas, who is from El Paso, may be driving a white Dodge Dart with a Texas license plate NFP-2796 and may be in the San Antonio area.
Military Police are asking for information on Salas. If you see Salas or have information regarding his whereabouts, contact the Fort Hood military police desk at (254) 288-1131.
Salas' disappearance comes after Vanessa Guillen's murder and two other Fort Hood soldiers deaths prompting Congress to investigate the post.
