The Golden State Warriors' final game of 2021 has been postponed due to a COVID-19 outbreak and a handful of injured players on the Denver Nuggets, their scheduled opponents on Thursday night.
It's the Warriors' first game that has been postponed during the 2021-22 season, and the 11th the NBA has had to reschedule due to the virus.

The league announced on Thursday that the Nuggets, with three players and their head coach in the COVID-19 health and safety protocols, wouldn't be able to dress the minimum eight players. Denver also had four players listed as questionable on the NBA's 1:30 p.m. PT injury report.
Golden State lost to Denver on Tuesday night at Chase Center, and all three Nuggets now in the health and safety protocols (Jeff Green, Bones Hyland and Zeke Ninaj) played in San Francisco.
The Warriors still have three players in the health and safety protocols: Draymond Green, Damion Lee and injured big man James Wiseman. Andrew Wiggins played Tuesday night after leaving the protocols, while Jordan Poole and Moses Moody are out of the protocols. Poole has missed the Golden State's last six games, and Moody missed the last two.
It's unclear when the Warriors and Nuggets will make up the game. Golden State next plays in Denver on March 10, but the Warriors wouldn't be able to play on March 9 or March 11 without playing three games in as many nights. Further complicating matters is that the NBA previously postponed the Nuggets' Dec. 19 game against the Brooklyn Nets,
