Police continue to search for two Alabama men who went missing earlier this month in Sacramento.
Ladexter Tequan Pelot, 25, of Greene County Alabama and Johnathan Fitzgerald Dubose Jr, 20, of Tuscaloosa were reported missing to the Gridley and Sacramento Police Departments on November 6, two days after they were last seen at the Sacramento Airport, prompting an on-going search by multiple local agencies.

Police obtained security footage from November 4 which showed the men being picked up at the airport and entering a dark blue four door sedan, "possibly" a Toyota or Nissan, according to investigators. They have not been seen since. SFGate reported that their family’s last contact with them was a confirmation from Pelt that they had arrived in Sacramento.
No other information was available about the vehicle they entered.
On November 7, detectives obtained Dubose’s cell phone, which was found by a hunter in the Sutter Bypass Wildlife area on the northwest side of the State Route 99 Feather River bridge crossing near the town of Nicholas, authorities said. A search of the rest of the area yielded no additional information.
Cell phone provider information led officers on November 9 to also search the area around a Super 8 Wyndham Hotel near Business 80 and Madison Ave. for Pelot’s phone, however they were unable to gather any further leads.
Phone records indicate that Pelot’s and Dubose’s last known location was in Gridley. According to the outlet, their families were not aware of either having friends in the area.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Gridley Police Department at 530-846-5670.
