
Two people have been injured at the Tesla factory in Fremont after a fire broke out Tuesday.
The fire was reported at around 1 p.m. in a boiler room on the third floor of the manufacturing plant, located at 45500 Fremont Blvd., the Fremont Fire Department reported.

Two people suffered from smoke inhalation and were transported to a local hospital.
The blaze ignited when large filters for the heating, ventilation and air conditioning system caught fire, officials said. Crews extinguished the flames at around 1:20 p.m. and as of 2 p.m., firefighters were working to clear smoke from the building.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. The status of the hospitalized individuals is not currently available.
