Uniqlo is closing its three-story shop in San Francisco's Union Square on March 21, after nearly a decade.
That day will be the locations last in business, but other Bay Area stores will remain open, according to an announcement posted on Uniqlo's website.
The closure comes as crowds are yet to return to Union Square due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The 35,000 sq. ft. H&M store across the street from the Uniqlo location already shuttered.
Uniqlo also recently closed a midtown Manhattan store to cut costs.
