A Spirit Halloween in San Mateo County was on the receiving end of a trick, not a treat, on Monday afternoon.
Around 2 p.m. Monday, four women robbed a Spirit store located in Millbrae, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.

According to a release issued by the sheriff's office, the four women cased the store with a small dog in tow.
They made off with approximately $250 worth of merchandise and left in a white Infiniti sedan. Before they escaped, one of the women pushed a bystander, injuring their shoulder.
The bandits were last spotted with their booty heading southbound on El Camino Real.
The first suspect is "a woman in her 20s, wearing lime green tennis shoes," according to deputies' description. "The second woman was wearing a pink sweater, purple sweats and gray Crocs. The third was wearing a black top, multicolored shorts, and white and green tennis shoes."
While there was a fourth suspect, a description has not yet been provided. Their dog accomplice closely resembles a pug.
The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information to call 800-547-2700.
