Police have announced multiple arrests in the three-year-old case of a murdered Redwood City teenager.
Belmont Police revealed on Wednesday that they have arrested four people, including a juvenile, in connection with the 2019 homicide of Mohammad Othman, a 17-year-old student at Carlmont High School.

The suspects have been identified as 23-year-old Ruben GonzalezMagallanes of Indianapolis, Indiana, 21-year-old Antonio Valencia of Concord, a 19-year-old from South San Francisco and a 17-year-old from Mountain View. Police did not release the name of the 19-year-old as they were a juvenile at the time of the murder.
On Jan. 7th, 2019 at about 10:58 pm, Belmont Police responded to Central Elementary School after receiving reports of a possible kidnapping. Upon arriving at the scene, officers found Othman's body in the school parking lot.
Following an initial investigation, officers concluded that the suspects most likely knew the victim.
GonzalezMagallanes is currently being held in Marion County Jail while Valencia is being held in San Mateo County Jail on charges of conspiracy, robbery, assault with a firearm and murder.
Grieving friends and family members of Othman have finally been given closure on the devastating case. Many took to social media to thank the department for their hard work in arresting the suspects.
