SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS RADIO) – Rapid gunfire awoke neighbors at Golden Gate Village Apartments in Marin City Sunday morning after a shooting killed one person and injured another two.

Deputies and fire personnel are at scene of the incident in the area of Cole Drive. Authorities first reported the shooting on Twitter at 10:06 a.m.
One of the victims was transported to a local hospital where they were pronounced deceased while the two other injured people are expected to survive, according to the Marin County Sheriff's Office.
The investigation is ongoing. No other details were released.
