20-year-old Roman Gaelan Seabok is facing a felony count of murder for allegedly hitting 33-year-old Raul Morales Lopez Jr. with a Dodge van resulting in Lopez's death, the district attorney's office said in a release.

On March 21, Lopez was walking his bike on the sidewalk of Hoffman Boulevard near Cutting Boulevard, according to the release. At around 10 p.m. a van drove onto the sidewalk and ran over Lopez, when emergency responders arrive on the scene they pronounced him dead, the district attorney’s office said.

Richmond Police investigated the incident and gathered evidence from the "vehicle, video footage from security cameras and witnesses," the release said. Officers arrested Seabock on April 13 in San Anselmo.

Seabok was arranged on Friday at 1:30 p.m. in Richmond.
