It's about to get very windy in parts of the Bay Area.

The National Weather Service on Wednesday issued a wind advisory beginning at 8 p.m. on Wednesday until 11 a.m. on Thursday, with possible gusts up to 60 miles per hour in the East Bay Hills and North Bay.
Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa and Sonoma counties are covered by the agency advisory, as westerly winds are expected to blow up to 25 mph.
Officials urged residents to secure loose objects outside of their homes, as well as avoid trees and downed power lines. Power outages are also possible, according to the agency.
The National Weather Service said the winds are expected to peak on Thursday morning.
