Evacuations are underway north of Sonoma late Wednesday as fire crews battle a small vegetation fire.
It started around 4:30 p.m. near 1st St. West and Norrbom Rd.
Deputies conducted limited evacuations by knocking on doors of homes to be evacuated, the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office said.
Fire personnel are on scene, both on the ground and in the air doing water drops. Flames are reportedly spreading at a "moderate rate of speed."
The fire, being called the Dream Fire, has burned about 1.5 acres.
Officials are asking people to avoid the area. Several roads are closed.
As of 6:23 p.m., officials had completed all necessary evacuations.
