
One person was injured in a shooting on Interstate 280 in San Francisco that prompted hours of lane and on-ramp closures on Wednesday.
The California Highway Patrol on Wednesday said it is investigating the shooting, which was reported around 10:45 a.m. on Southbound 280 north of 25th St.
Officers closed all southbound lanes, as well as southbound on-ramps at King, 6th and Mariposa streets for a little over two hours.
The injured person was transported to San Francisco General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.
The highway patrol provided no information about suspects in the shooting.
