
A minor earthquake rattled the East Bay Saturday afternoon.
Shortly before 12:30 p.m., a magnitude 3.4 earthquake hit less than 2 miles north of San Leandro. The quake is the second minor earthquake to hit the East Bay in the past two days.

A 3.0 magnitude earthquake struck the same area Friday night, United States Geological Survey reported.
The second quake ran almost 4 miles deep and could be felt in outer Alameda and Contra Costa counties.
There have been no reported injuries or damages.
