A gang member who allegedly attempted to hide firearms in a San Francisco stadium bathroom has been arrested.

Police confirmed the arrests of a gang member and an accomplice on Twitter Friday, stating that "an 18-year-old male and 35-year-old female were arrested, both residents of San Francisco."

The pair allegedly attempted to hide their semi-automatic weapons at Kezar Stadium, the old stomping ground of the 49ers, during a high school football game, but were "unable," police said.

Officials have not yet released the identities of the suspects or what their intentions were.

The charges the pair face are currently unknown.
