The stage in San Jose presents STRANGE COURTESIES. This magnificent play, fittingly performed during Black History Month, takes us on a long agonizing journey of struggle: from slavery to the fight for racial justice to apartheid to current BLM times. FEED THE NEED: CUESA
Support out of work hospitality workers and local farmers by donating to CUESA and gift a produce box to those in need. Over 2,000 bountiful boxes have been handed over so far. ART: WE THE PEOPLE
We The People is an amazing art installation that will be projected on City Hall nightly from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. March 2-7. Bay Area artist Jock McDonald, created the project in partnership with 55 members of Glide Memorial working directly with the SF Arts Commission and City Hall to go live. His ultimate goal is to project the work on the White House on July 4! The projections will be on the Polk St. side of City Hall and be around 40 feet tall. It’s pretty incredible.
