A concert in the South Bay has led to a COVID-19 outbreak.
Members of the Los Angeles-based band Grateful Shred said nearly all of the musicians and crew tested positive for COVID-19 following their show at the Felton Music Hall in Felton on July 18, the venue and group announced in Instagram posts.
Multiple attendees also since tested positive, though the venue did not specify how many. It asked that anybody who attended the concert receive a COVID test.
The hall will now require all concertgoers and staff to wear masks while inside.
The band and crew are at home recovering with their families.
The venue said it’s been in close contact with the Santa Cruz County Health Division and is working with them on finding the safest way to move forward.
