Are you missing that family-friendly Disneyland Haunted Mansion this Halloween?
You know, the famed ride we've all known since childhood?
We discovered a replica in the Oakland Hills that's just as fun during the day as it is at night. Three-year-old Daniella approaches the spooky home at 2140 Arrowhead Dr. during the day with her mom, Sheena Singh.
"Because she gets too scared at nighttime," Singh told KCBS Radio. "Daytime is fine. Nighttime, not so much."
The home is a replica of all the classic scenes.

It’s cool during the day, but the ghosts really come alive at night. From the shivering graveyard worker to the singing statue heads to the dueling portraits and the hitchhiking ghosts.
It’s the creation of homeowners David Petlin and his husband, Tyler Haugen, who, with projectors and speakers, were looking for something fun to do with all their pandemic time.
"(We’ve got) a bricklayer whose hand is stuck outside laying those last bricks, we have him recreated towards the back of the house," Petlin said. "So, we did this with a lot of little elements that people who don’t know the ride will enjoy this as a haunted house, but people who really are fans of the attraction can get things like the authentic wallpaper or the hatbox ghost - things that you may not know unless you’re a super fan of the ride."

The house even includes haunted musical instruments.
"If you aren’t going to the real park, it’s as close as you’re going to get," Petlin said.
The homage to the classic ride plays nightly at dusk.
