A runaway boy was found on Wednesday after Oakland police asked for the public’s help in locating him.
In a tweet, the Oakland Police Department notified the public that 12-year-old Garrion Watson was no longer a missing person after being safely located by Missing Person Investigators.
Watson originally went missing at 11:00 a.m. in Oakland last Tuesday in the 6900 block of Foothill Blvd, wearing a t-shirt and khaki pants.
Officers deemed the boy "at risk" due to his age.
