Duke's Spirited Cocktails, an upscale lounge in downtown Healdsburg, is at the center of the allegations, as multiple people have come forward to claim that they were drugged at the bar, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.
At least nine police reports have been filed since October, however the Healdsburg Police Department has no suspects or concrete evidence to prove that spiking is in fact happening, the newspaper stated.
One patron took to Google Reviews to warn other customers. "Was charged for doubles, when I never ordered or got a double. And then was roofied by who I think was the bartender. Have had about 3 girlfriends have the same experience here. I'd be very careful going here," they stated.
In response to the allegations, Duke's wrote in a Facebook post that they are "actively cooperating with the Healdsburg PD in their investigation of these alleged incidents."
"Every member of the Duke's team is committed to patron safety and always have been," the bar affirmed. "We have six certified security guards and a state-of-the-art, high definition surveillance system covering every inch of the bar and outdoor patio. The safety of our patrons is our highest priority."
Healdsburg police confirmed to the newspaper that none of the reports involved sexual misconduct, physical assault or robbery.
Duke's owner David Ducommun is reportedly cooperating with police and has provided security footage from the bar.
KCBS Radio has reached out to the Healdsburg Police Department regarding the allegations, but has not yet heard back.
