OK’s Deli, which has quickly become a go-to Bay Area food spot since opening in early 2021, will be opening a full restaurant on September 1 at 3932 Telegraph Ave.

"It has been such a journey to get to this point! We are so looking forward to opening day! Thank you all for the continued support!" the restaurant announced in an Instagram post on Saturday. "Mark your calendar, tell your family, tag the homies, spread the word! We will also be giving more details and information of what’s to come with each day passing till we get to opening day."

The deli was opened by Chef Albert Ok, and specializes in Asian-inspired twists on classic sandwiches. The San Francisco Chronicle reported that the new restaurant will serve two staple sandwiches everyday, including its famed Sichuan hot chicken sandwich, its most sought-after item. The other two sandwich options will constantly change daily.

According to SFGATE, the pop-up's entire menu has sold out for 32 consecutive weeks.

The OK's Deli team includes an array of Michelin-ranked chefs such as Kelvin Choy, who worked at Namu Gaji in the Mission District, Karis Kochi, who worked at Benu and Monsieur Benjamin in San Francisco and Hoang Le, who worked at two Michelin-star restaurant Commis, the outlet reported.
