San Francisco's district attorney has filed seven felony charges against a man for seven separate robberies victimizing Asian women.
Boudin made the announcement on Tuesday, alleging that the string of crimes was racially motivated.

"We do not tolerate hate or violence in San Francisco, and those who commit violence or target our AAPI community members will be held accountable," Boudin said in a statement.
Boudin's office said that O'Sean Garcia robbed the victims between March and September of this year, with three of the incidents taking place on March 13 and two different robberies on Aug. 5.
The most recent robbery allegedly happened last Tuesday, when Garcia stole a backpack from a 27-year-old Asian woman. The backpack contained multiple items, including a laptop, which allowed investigators to track Garcia's location.
Locations of the incidents were not provided.
Some of the incidents apparently involved two men, however, only Garcia has been charged at this time. Many of the Asian women, who range in age from 18 to 61, spoke only Cantonese.
Garcia is set to be arraigned on Tuesday afternoon.
