SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS RADIO) – San Jose police are investigating a fatal shooting of a man on Friday morning.

Officers responded to the 2100 block of Monterey Road after being notified of a man being shot, according to police. When they arrived, they saw the man suffering from at least one gunshot wound, police said. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Once the Santa Clara County Coroner's Office notifies the family they will release the identity of the deceased.
This is San Jose's 22nd homicide this year.
Police are still investigating the motive for the shooting.
