Police are asking for the public’s help locating the suspect wanted for a homicide earlier this year in East San Jose.

The incident occurred at approximately 6 p.m. on March 7 in the 1100 block of Carnelian Dr., authorities said.

Police released apparent home surveillance footage of a 2002-2005 Blue Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer Edition with tan trim leaving the scene and said they believe it was involved in the homicide.

They noted multiple distinctive features about the vehicle: a black rimmed spare tire on the rear passenger side, after-market custom chrome front grill, and distinct oxidation on the hood.
