San Jose teen booked for shooting, murdering relative

A 15-year-old boy was arrested in San Jose Wednesday night for the shooting and murder of a woman he was related to.

Officers responded to a call at approximately 7:57 p.m. about a person shot at the 2700 block of Story Rd, according to a police press release.

They arrived and found the adult female victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound, and pronounced her dead at the scene. Her identity has not been released.

The teenage juvenile was detained and arrested at the scene. He was booked into Juvenile Hall for manslaughter.

This is San Jose’s 27th homicide this year, according to authorities.
