SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS RADIO) – Kaiser Permanente San Leandro Medical Center is on lockdown following a shooting nearby just before noon.

An armored truck guard who works for GardaWorld had just picked up money and was on his way back to the car when he was shot, witnesses told San Leandro police.
The suspect then took the money and fled. Police have not released any detailed description of the suspect.
The guard is reportedly in critical condition.
Police said there is no current threat in the area.
