Santa Cruz's favorite tourist destination is back in business this week.

The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk has announced that they will reopen at a limited capacity and with rides available starting Thursday. An estimated 8-12 rides will be open daily and reservations can be made now through April 11.

The boardwalk will initially be open to California residents only and reservations for rides are highly recommended. You can get a day pass for ride for $34.95. They're available until two hours before ride closing each day.

The boardwalk was previously the first theme park to reopen in California with rides last fall, but that only lasted for a week before another shut down was issued.

This will be the park's first opening with rides since last November.

There's currently no update on whether the Boardwalk's "Free Bands On The Beach" or "Free Movies On The Beach" series will return this summer.
