
One person is dead and another two hospitalized with gunshot wounds after a triple shooting in unincorporated Brentwood on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to reports of shots fired at approximately 4:20 p.m. at a residence in the 10200 block of Brentwood Blvd.
Officers found three gunshot victims, two of which were taken to a local hospital while the other was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation is ongoing. None of the subject’s names or genders were released. Authorities said homicide detectives and crime personnel remain on the scene.
