
SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS RADIO) – A shooting at an Oakland bar Thursday night left one person dead and four people injured, according to a statement the Oakland Police Department provided to KCBS Radio.

Around 10:30 p.m. Thursday night, Oakland Police Department officers responded to a possible shooting.
The Halftime bar, located at the 300 block of 14th Street in downtown Oakland, is a sports bar.
When officers arrived at the scene, one victim, an adult man, was found suffering from a gunshot wound. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Another victim, an adult woman, had also sustained a gunshot wound and was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for her injuries. She is in critical but stable condition.
Shortly after the police responded, three additional adult male victims arrived at an area hospital suffering from gunshot wounds. All three sustained their injuries in the shooting at the bar.
The shooting is being investigated by the Oakland Police Department Homicide Division. The victims' names are being withheld pending notification to next-of-kin.
