Disturbing video appears to show the man suspected in a mass shooting at San Jose's Valley Transportation Authority loading a duffel bag into his pickup truck just moments before killing eight people and himself early Wednesday.
The surveillance footage, courtesy of Doug Suh, was obtained by KCBS Radio's Kathy Novak. It showed a timestamp of 5:38 a.m. Multiple 911 calls reporting the VTA light rail yard shooting came just after 6:30 a.m.

In the video, Suh's neighbor "Sam" leaves his home on Angmar Court in East San Jose shortly before the house went up in flames. He sets what appears to be a duffel bag in the passenger seat of a white pickup truck before walking around to the vehicle's driver's side and driving away.
It's believed the suspect set the fire himself, possibly with a timed device to coincide with the alleged mass shooting at the VTA facility.
When Suh woke up around 6:45 a.m. to get ready for a 7:30 a.m. golf game, he saw his neighbor’s house was on fire. Suh himself said he did not see the suspect leave the home on Wednesday morning, but knows him well. "He’s kind of strange…he never says hi," Suh told KCBS Radio. "I always say hi to him and he never says hi back to me, so my wife is kind of scared of him."

The suspect's home is being treated as a crime scene amid reports of weapons and ammunition in the home and fears of potential explosions. There's a heavy police presence including a bomb squad, sheriff's deputies, fire crews, the FBI and ATF all on the scene.
Police have cordoned off a section of the neighborhood.
"Most of the entire left side of the house...extremely heavy fire conditions...fire coming out of the windows so everything inside and part of the structure. The attic and the roof was on fire when we got here," said San Jose Fire Department Battalion Chief Jeff Fielding.
Authorities believe the unidentified suspect then drove 11 miles to the VTA light rail yard to commit the shooting. Multiple sources have identified the shooter as 57-year-old Sam James Cassidy, a VTA technician.
Officials have yet to confirm his identity or discuss a possible motive.
The investigation is ongoing.
